- The 'Propasil in Tyvek' desiccant pouches were registered with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on 6 June 2024 by signing a Drug Master File (DMF) type III. Drug Master Files (DMFs) are documents sent to the FDA used to provide confidential and detailed information on facilities, processes or articles used in the production, processing, packaging and storage of pharmaceutical products for human use. A DMF type III provides critical information to evaluate the materials used to package pharmaceutical products in order to assess any adverse interactions that may adversely affect the integrity of the drug itself.
