IMPACT INDICATORS

The sentinels of your expedition.

Designed for immediate inspection of goods conditions, the disposable shock indicators Impact Label and Impact Indicator 2 are applied directly onto the packaging to visually signal any abnormal stress experienced during transport and handling.

The operation is as simple as it is effective: when a predefined shock threshold, expressed in g, is exceeded, the indicator changes color turning red, making it immediately visible to the recipient that the package has suffered an out-of-norm impact.

In addition to the detection function, these devices have a concrete deterrent effect, as their presence encourages logistics chain operators to handle packages with greater care, thus contributing to a significant reduction in the rate of damage and non-conformities.

Impact Label
A disposable shock indicator with immediate visual activation, which unambiguously signals any impacts suffered by goods during transport and storage, ensuring traceability and damage prevention.

Impact Indicator 2
A next-generation shock indicator with bidirectional detection, tamper-proof and field-activated, capable of signaling with the utmost precision any abnormal stress suffered by the package, for advanced protection of sensitive goods throughout the entire supply chain.

Benefits

  • Immediate visual inspection: no equipment needed, just a glance to check the condition of the package upon receipt.
  • Deterrent effect: the presence of the indicator encourages logistics chain operators to handle goods with greater care.
  • Objective and irrefutable evidence: visual and undeniable proof in the event of a claim or dispute with the carrier.
  • Reduction of incidents and hidden damage: allows for the timely identification of any impacts, preventing damage from emerging only downstream, perhaps after a production process has already begun.
  • Ease of application: adhesive label, applicable directly to packaging, crates and pallets without the need for special equipment or expertise.
  • Customizable sensitivity thresholds: available in different g values, to adapt to the fragility level of the product.
  • Traceability: serial number present on all labels, to support inspection and non-conformity management throughout the supply chain.

Application sectors

Electronics and IT: consumer electronic equipment, computers, servers and data centers, telecommunications instrumentation.

Glass, marble and fragile materials: glass products, marble slabs, furniture, lighting accessories.

Medical and diagnostic equipment: medical machinery, precision diagnostic instrumentation.

Aerospace and defense: components and communication systems, instrumentation for aeronautical networks.

Automotive: engines, components and precision mechanical parts.

General industrial applications: precision machinery and any high-value package, where improper handling would result in costly damage or insurance disputes.

Problems solved by this product

Cold Chain

Controlled preservation system that maintains temperature-sensitive products within specific temperature ranges during transport, storage and distribution. Cold chain monitoring uses thermal indicators and temperature recorders to prevent thermal breaks that could compromise the effectiveness of drugs, vaccines and biological products, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Data Logger

Electronic device reusable or single-use designed to automatically record environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure during transport and storage. Data loggers generate detailed reports with charts and statistics to ensure regulatory compliance and predictive analysis of the supply chain, particularly critical for pharmaceutical and food products.

IoT Monitoring

Internet of Things applied to monitoring systems for real-time transmission of environmental and movement data through 4G/5G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. IoT monitoring devices enable remote control, automatic alerts, cloud dashboards and integration with ERP/WMS systems, offering complete visibility over the supply chain and timely intervention capabilities.

Traceability

Ability to monitor and completely document the journey and conditions experienced by a product throughout the entire supply chain. Traceability in monitoring includes recording physical and environmental parameters, critical events, GPS location and precise timestamps, ensuring objective evidence for insurance claims, regulatory compliance and optimization of logistics processes through data analysis.

Triaxial Accelerometer

Precision sensor that measures acceleration along the three spatial axes (X, Y, Z) to detect shocks, vibrations and movements during handling and transport. The accelerometers used in monitoring systems allow to identify harmful events and correlations between mechanical stress and damage to sensitive products.
